It's All About Quality - We buy ingredients based on utritional value, maximum flavor, and organic or non-GMO, except when considerations like animal welfare and local versus huge companies we don't know tip the balance.
We use only traditional fats - olive oil, coconut oil, ghee, butter, and lard.
Making everything ourselves keeps our added salt (sea salt) super low. We don't even use cane sugar with one exception, our gluten free Chocolate Chunk Cookies.
Relationships and Build Trust - We source locally as much as possible so we stay connected and know exactly what's up with our ingredients, and so you can too! We source directly from 11 different local farmers on a regular basis. Plus their food just tastes the best.
We also encourage you to build a relationship with us. We are happy to answer any questions you have about the ingredients or meals.
We're Flexible - Buy only what you want, when you want it. We have no minimum order amount and there is no weekly obligation.
Everything on our menu is offered separately - mains, sides, snacks, desserts and beverages. No more forced meal combinations - and lots of variety!
Special Diet? Eat Only Non-GMO? No Problem! - We list every ingredient (just click on the item photo) and whether it is organic, non-GMO, or in rare cases neither, so you can choose what's right for you and your loved ones. We're all about transparency.
Search by common dietary needs like gluten free, dairy free, Paleo, vegetarian and more. Most of our menus are entirely gluten free, with a gluten item appearing about once every 3-4 weeks.
Feel the Love. Because we believe in what we do, we also love what we do. The kitchen is fun, even when, well, it really just isn't. This is hard work with lots of chopping and manual labor. Our team's dedication and sense of humor makes every week one to enjoy.
