Day 144 - Body and The Brain September 21 2015

In a podcast by Michele Rosenthal, she stated that the brain can handle 50% more stress than the body. Makes sense... The brain has to survive, right!?! I am tuning in, even more, to what my body is telling me. I manage my body's limits on physical activity and don't try to force it into submission. I am being responsible and honoring my ‪#‎recovery‬. I take its cues on when I need to lie down. Plus, I have a scheduled time each week for an extended, Sabbath-like period of rest.
