Comfort Food January 17 2016
Day 16 #whole30 observation... I am coming out of a minor #ptsd episode in which I realized how important food is for emotional support. This is a huge mind shift in understanding the role of food in my life. I am well acquainted with the downside of emotional eating. Through the help of some comfort food over the past 2 days, I was able to recover well. And, I still feel good since I have been detoxing. Without being on the Whole30, I would have overly overindulged with Kit Kats and Doritos (making me feel yucky and gain weight). My relationship and appreciation of the power of #realfood continues to expand.
