My Misplaced Mindful Magazine October 09 2016

One of the tasks in my circle of responsibility at Back to Basics Kitchen is shopping on Monday mornings.  At the Lafayette Vitamin Cottage checkout counter, I recently discovered the Mindful Magazine.  I am fascinated by how the brain works, especially with managing my Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder symptoms on a daily basis.  (I confess that the handsome man on the cover really caught my eye.)  The irony of misplacing the magazine for a few days while comical was also upsetting.  (Acronyms, evidently, can come along with CPTSD like OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) and NVS (Narcissistic Victim Syndrome).)  Bringing great relief, I finally discovered the magazine a few days later.  I highly encourage this publication for anyone.  I have learned a lot and am even considering some future formal training.  It's kind of fun, too, because I am unable to comprehend most of the words I read, so I get to absorb more information as I reread the articles.  (I really get my bang for the buck.)  The online subscription includes a database for past content and there are even informative articles posted for free.  Happy Reading!
