This is a Greek recipe made special by its egg-lemon sauce that gives the broth a smooth and lemony richness. The bright flavors of this classic simple soup will leave you feeling both nourished and refreshed.
We simmer organic chicken in our rich housemade chicken stock* with organic eggs, organic onion, organic cauliflower, organic lemon juice we've freshly squeezed, organic thyme, olive oil and Real sea salt.
Traditionally this recipe includes pasta or rice. We make our version with cauliflower "rice" for a Paleo and GAPS/SCD friendly spin on the classic.
Quart or Pint. Quart serves 2-3 as a main or 4 as a side. Price includes $1.25 jar deposit.
*We make our chicken stock with organic chicken backs, locally raised chicken feet and filtered, pH balanced water.
Freezable in straight-edged mason jars with appropriate head room or other freezer safe container. Simply run the frozen jars under warm water to slide out and heat.
