Summer Hiring!

Want some more healthy cooking experience? To learn to bake with alternative ingredients?  And get a peek into running a conscious food business? 

Join us! We are looking for kitchen help Monday through Wednesdays  10am-6pm as well as Thursdays 1pm-6pm starting ASAP through late August.

All of these hours can be filled by one person, or we have  options for half day shifts that could be filled by more than one  person.

Start time is flexible 10am through 1:30pm.

Tasks include some preparation basics like washing and chopping veggies (we  have a fun chopper machine; minimal knife skills needed), juicing  citrus, roasting peppers, preparing meats, cooking individual components  of our meals, and Paleo baking as appropriate with experience.

You will also help with meal packaging and labeling in jars and  tins, as well as jar sanitization. We all help with dishes daily.

If you're wanting to be in the kitchen but not ready to jump in  with the food prep, we can use help with just the packaging.

 

Paid options available for 9+ hours. Internship with food credit for 8 or less.

 

Adults and teens welcome. Some of our best kitchen help has been teens! (Including Amy's children).


Reliability and a willingness to learn, listen, and work with motivated curiosity and efficiency are more important than specific kitchen experience. You do need to be comfortable with home cooking, able to work standing for a few hours at a time, and lift at least 25 pounds consistently and safely.
