Testimonials About Our Organic Meals. Here Healthy = Delicious!

  • Raspberry Almond Scones (Grain/Dairy Free)"I just had some lamb and veg soup for lunch, and I just had to tell you it is probably the best soup I ever had. I couldn't resist trying a scone, and same there - the best ever. Since I have been eating organic and without any gluten, processed food, minimal dairy no refined sugar, plus low sodium, low fat, it was just impossible to buy prepared food anywhere that meets my standards and tastes great. Until now. Thank you so, so much." - Mary Jane, Lafayette

  • "My family LOVES the cilantro lime yogurt sauce/dressing from this week. We have now used it for everything in the last 24 hours - salad dressing, bread dipping sauce, empanada and burrito sauce... Thanks!" - Megan H., Lafayette

  • Ponjoo Gluten Free Cheese Bread"I cooked the Ponjoo tonight for the first time.  Oh My! After three years of health issues my daughter recently found out she has a gluten intolerance. I have spent many hours and a lot of money hunting out gluten free items. Many GFree items on the market taste horrible.  She especially loves pizza and cheese sticks.  So I purchased Ponjoo at the farm stand. These are so amazing and wonderful I can't even begin to tell you.  They are better than cheese sticks!  We will never have cheese sticks again. What a difference these little cheese breads have made for our family. Ponjoo forever!" -Christine A., Lafayette

  • "The beef stew was amazing, the curry chicken was GREAT on salad for office lunches, and most exciting of all, our 6-year-old actually liked the pork tenderloin (which my husband and I also loved) and the fresh carrot salad. THANK YOU! It is very hard to get protein into our son, so it is a joy -- and a relief -- to find something he likes which also nourishes his body." -Julie L., Boulder

  • Lamb StewLoved the lamb strew and cooked greens with pine nuts this week! Two of my favorite dishes. So helpful to have your food in my home for quick, healthy, nutritious meals on my home-work days. Thank you! - Bari T., Boulder

  • "Since you all have become my chefs, I've lost 8 pounds! I'm finally eating my vegetables and good food. :) You have no idea how much you all are helping me as a cancer survivor. <3" -Christine D., Longmont

  • "Dinner tonight from you was especially yummy, but I wanted to share a picture of Calvin (our baby son). He had some of the Carrot Ginger Soup and loved it!  Every time I took the spoon from him to get more he cried! It was very cute. Thanks for feeding my family terrific food!"  -Michelle H., Boulder

  • GF Lasagna"OMG!! I just ate my lasagna. It was so amazing!!!!  To. Die. For." - Susan K., Lafayette

  • "I've been meaning to send you an email to just say how delicious your meals have been...the soups, entrees, desserts, everything!  Each week I find myself eating something and saying "Wow! This is amazing!!!!!!" -Topher D., Boulder

  • "We are loving the food! I have been looking long and hard for a service exactly like this-  a healthy, delicious and easy way to feed our busy family. We both work and always struggle with getting dinner on the table when we walk in the door at 5 or 6pm- thank you!" -Jen S., Boulder

  • Saffron Roasted Cauliflower"Wonderful customer service, and food that taste's like mom's-- homemade. I have celiac disease which means I cannot have gluten, and ordered the gluten free meatloaf, lentil soup and cauliflower side dish. All was really tasty, and I appreciate how accommodating and supportive Back to Basics Kitchen is of my dietary restrictions (chatted with them over email at length about my celiac)." -Carrie, Boulder

  • "The Moroccan chickpea tagine with apricots from the meals menu last week = YUM. Never had such tender chickpeas. Amazing flavor." -Christine V., Westminster

  • Green Beans and Cauliflower"I just have to say, regarding the order I picked up today, I have never in my entire life had a green bean that tasted soooo gooood!  I was a vegetarian for 20 years in my life  of 59 years due to the unhumane treatment of animals - but, since about 7 years ago, I have been eating meat, as there exists humane treatment of our sources of meat - chicken, beef and pork. But, I have never had such wonderful green beans! Thank you." -Jeanne T., Lafayette

  • "OMG, the eggplant moussaka was DELISH! I wish we had bought more. Same with the carrot salad and the beet and bean soup. We all really loved the moussaka (with beef), even my 5 year old. I'll buy lots of it next time to freeze! Thanks, Chelsea and Susanna!" -Betsy S., Lafayette

  • "I have to say this place was a LIFESAVER. When my food allergies were at their worst, and with my severely life-limiting fatigue, it would get to a point that I could not get enough food fixed for myself, let alone my kids. I was able to purchase GAPS food from Back to Basics Kitchen. Sure, it wasn't fun driving all the way to S. Boulder from Arvada for pick-up, but when you are that sick and you have no other option, and know that any restaurant food will make you sick, this was the option. Big fan of both Zuke's products and Back to Basics Kitchen - and they are both local :)" -Lori R., Arvada

  • "The quinoa and broccoli salad this week was fantastic! I only ordered a pint and I am regretting that! " -Molly A., Longmont

  • "The braised grass fed beef was absolutely wonderful. Please make again!" -Troy O., Boulder
