Kale- who knew eating greens would get so popular? We love it. Here's a deliciously fresh way to enjoy one of our favorite greens.
We take tender organic kale and massage it with fresh squeezed organic lemon juice*, organic extra virgin olive oil, and Real sea salt and then toss it with bites of crisp organic apple. The lemon juice helps transform these raw greens into a delicate salad.
Add optional walnuts we glaze with unfiltered Colorado honey and toast for extra crunch and a little flair.
This salad is a wonderful accompaniment to any of our menu items this week, or toss in some of your favorite meat or avocado for lunch!
Please note that this salad is best enjoyed within 3 days of pick up, but will last longer (may soften more).
Quart serves 6 as a side. Pint serves 3 as a side. Price includes $1.25 jar deposit.
Our customers report that this does freeze well, though we recommend enjoying it as fresh as possible for maximum flavor and texture.
