The secret to this aromatic soup is slowly simmered broth with tender locally raised pork (with conventional feed), fresh spicy organic ginger, and organic garlic in our housemade chicken stock*. It's always all about the stock!
We then add organic local radish, organic Red Wagon Farm cabbage, organic Red Wagon Farm carrot, organic basil, organic Red Wagon Farm green onions, Szechwan peppercorn, our house-rendered pasture raised lard, and Real sea salt. We finish this with a splash of sesame oil and ume plum vinegar (a vinegar with typical tang and an interesting nuanced plum flavor).
1 Quart or 1 Pint. Price includes $1.25 jar deposit.
*We make all our stocks and stews from scratch using pH balanced filtered water.
Note: We hot pack this item (not can but packed so it does create a seal). It will stay fresh for at least 10 days before you break the seal, then the freshness clock starts ticking as normal.
