Moroccan Spiced Chickpeas


A customer favorite!  Comforting, flavorful, and a little exotic with a super fragrant spice blend that includes nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon and turmeric. The creamy chickpeas take on the lovely spices beautifully.

An excellent accompaniment to our Rack of Lamb or great on their own!

Organic chickpeas we cook from scratch, stewed with Ras el Hanout* warm spices, organic onions, fresh garlic, organic ginger, organic Red Wagon Farm field ripened tomatoes, organic local kale, olive oil, and Real sea salt until we've got a perfect meld of flavors.

We finish this with a little organic fresh parsley, organic raisins, and fresh squeezed (by us) organic lemon juice. A hearty and delicious main dish or lunch- spice up your day!  

1 Quart or 1 Pint. One Quart serves 4 as a main for $3.93 per serving.  Price includes $1.25 jar deposit.  

*Ras el Hanout - Nutmeg, sea salt, black pepper, ginger, cardamom, mace, Chinese cinnamon, ground allspice, turmeric and saffron

This is hot packed and vacuum sealed to maintain freshness for at least 10 days before opening.

We have white lids with rubber rings that are reusable for vacuum sealing. Please return both the lid and plastic ring at your earliest convenience (and we can reuse the metal ring as always).
