Summery Provencal Fish Stew with Olives


A brief trip to the Mediterranean. The flavors just feel like summer.

Wild-caught Alaskan cod (or Mahi Mahi if cod is not available - both tasty, neutral white fish with nice texture) we braise in a rich broth of Settembre Cellars wine and clam juice* along with capers, olives, organic Red Wagon Farm tomatoes we've preserved, organic spinach, organic onions, organic garlic, Herbs de Provence from Savory Spice Shop (an aromatic blend of French thyme, savory, fennel, rosemary, marjoram, basil, lavender and tarragon), olive oil and Real sea salt.

Try some cut up Cappello's grain-free Fettuccine tossed in when heating.

Quart or Pint. A Quart serves 2-3 as a main.  A Pint serves 1-2. Price includes $1.25 jar deposit.

Stays FRESH longer! This item is vacuum sealed. It will keep fresh for at least 10 days in the fridge before opening or it can be frozen. All items with the white lid indicate this packing.  

The lids and rubber rings are resuable, please return them at your earliest convenience to keep our waste down.

Freezes excellently. To freeze use freezer safe glass jars (straight-edged) or other freezer safe vessels such as freezer bags or plastic containers. Break the vacuum seal and check headroom first.
