If you've never had roasted brussels sprouts- you must! Don't even think back to the mushy boiled ones you've eaten. These are a whole different world. Amazing roasted on their own, we've added the sweet pungency of caramelized garlic balanced with the brightness of lemon zest for a brussels sprout dish with more character than you have experienced before.
We roast organic brussels sprouts and organic onion with olive oil, and Real sea salt. Then we slowly cook down cloves of organic garlic in olive oil and balsamic vinegar to make a caramelized garlic sauce. Finally we toss the sprouts with the garlic, some fresh organic lemon zest, and for the final touch - fresh organic basil.
We've found even vegetable skeptics enjoy the sweetness and fun texture that comes from roasting vegetables.
