At least as tasty as the regular Joe (Amy likes it better!), here is our vegetarian-inspired version of this favorite.
We simmer organic Colorado pinto and organic garbanzo beans (cooked from scratch) in a sauce of sautéd organic onion, fresh garlic, organic red bell pepper, organic tomatoes and tomato paste, organic apple cider vinegar, Colorado unfiltered honey, Bragg's coconut aminos (organic Coconut Blossom Nectar, Distilled Water, Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, and Sea Salt), dry mustard, coriander, paprika and cayenne from Savory Spice Shop, thyme, black pepper, olive oil, and Real sea salt.
Enjoy with your favorite bun or as a hearty sauce with Cilantro Lime Rice for satisfying lunch or dinner.
(This is plant based if you are ok with some honey).

Freezable in straight-edged mason jars with appropriate head room or other freezer safe container. Simply run the frozen jars under warm water to slide out and heat.
