Yucatan Organic Chicken with Citrus & Chile


This flavor combination is really something. Four types of fresh squeezed citrus, roasted local Colorado chile, earthy fresh ground spices, and rich chicken broth make for a chicken dish you won't forget. And it's citrus season - the best time of year for this.

We brine the organic chicken first to make it tender and succulent.  This dish has a bit of spiciness to it from , but is on the mild-medium end.

We stew the juicy chicken with slices of organic onion and Red Wagon Farm roasted organic anaheim chiles (we've preserved from summer) in a bright and zesty marinade of fresh squeezed organic orange, organic lime, organic lemon and organic grapefruit juices, organic garlic, organic cumin, cloves, all spice and cinnamon from Savory Spice Shop, and Real sea salt.

Great for dinner or on-the-go for a satisfying lunch.  We recommend serving it with our Garlic Rice and your favorite tortillas.

Full size- 8-pieces. Serves 4-6, price per serving for 5 is $6.79. (2 breasts, 2 thighs, 2 drums, 2 wings) and lots of the delicious sauce.

Half size- 4 pieces.  Serves 2 to 3 (1 breast, 1 thigh, 1 drum, 1 wing)  and lots of the delicious sauce.
